Doug McDonald, "The Arkansas Razorback" has been headlining and performing throughout the United States and Canada for many years.  Doug McDonald and The Blue Mirror Band have performed live at venues throughout the nation including THE HOUSE OF BLUES, Chicago, IL., BUDDY GUY'S LEGENDS, Chicago, IL., CAJUN WHARF WHARF, Little Rock, AR., and the ILLINOIS STATE FAIR in Springfield, IL.  You may have seen him "back in the day" (the 70's) in Montreal or Vancouver, Canada performing with James Cotton and Junior Wells, or a couple years ago on the college campus in Carbondale, IL., or live on stage in Helena, AR., Kansas City or St. Louis, Mo.  Doug continues to play venues both large and smalls and welcomes the opportunity to "work his magic" on his guitar for any size crowd!

 

"ALMOST FAMOUS", Doug McDonald has performed with talented and well-known musicians including Buddy Guy, Phil Guy, Junior Wells, James Cotton, The Ci-lites, and Albert King and has been recorded with several artists.

 

Specializing in the Blues and Jazz genre, Doug's expertise, and his awe inspiring gift on lead guitar has made him a "must see live" entertainer.  He has been playing since childhood when he first bought a guitar in exchange for a bale of cotton in his home town in Arkansas.  He currently resides in the greater Chicago area.
